Project 52 "frame it"

This week, I am a day late, but of course God provided me with a perfect picture from this weekend. We moved momma Marentette to a little house next door to aunt Denise. The kids yelled at me but this moving truck provided the perfect "frame" of what we were doing. Momma is the happiest sounding in a couple years. Jeff & I feel the best of lifted burdens in a couple years. God is good!

Round

This week's theme is "round". Jessie earned 5 "round" metals today at her 2nd Gymnastics meet. 1st on beam, 1st on floor, 3rd on bars & 8th on floor. Her overall score earned her 1st All Around for 12 year olds. 4th for her awesome team of 3 girls!!

Like I have said before, watching her compete has made all the hours sitting in a gym the last 8 years worth it :) actually, it's worth it because God has given her amazing gifts.

So ROUND is a great celebration today!

New

Tomorrow we will start a "new" bible study session. We do this every Fall until Christmas & then again in Jan until Spring break & then again from April to June. I have had the privilege to be among these amazing women for now four years. Tomorrow we are dedicating the session to Rita who was killed on Friday on a mission trip to Haiti.
My heart is sad and God does use all things for good as Romans 8:28 says. The evangelism that has taken place in the last 2 days of stories of Rita, her husband Jim, Mary & Matt is overwhelming. Their sacrifice is leading people to Christ just as they did while they were living.
So my "new" is the Good News that I will be bolder about like Rita lived.

Project 52 Week 1

This project will have a picture to post each week with a question to answer.
This first week is
Who am I?
• I am a wife, mother, sister & friend.
• I work for Trinity Health from home as a coder.
• I have just been given an opportunity to teach at Davenport University again and am thrilled to do so.

Today we celebrated Christmas with my mom & sibling families.

My self portrait includes my siblings from today repeating our places in a picture taken in 1969.
